Ginger Turmeric Tea


  • teaspoon turmeric
  • teaspoon ginger
  • A couple peppercorns or a pinch of black pepper
  • Fresh lemon wedge
  • Raw honey optional


  • Boil one cup of water in a saucepan. Turn the heat off, and then add the turmeric and ginger and peppercorns.
  • Cover saucepan with lid and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  • Pour through a strainer and allow it to rest until cool enough to drink.
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice and add raw honey to taste. Enjoy!
