Revitalize with Turmeric

Turmeric is a potent root that gets its therapeutic properties from curcumin. Curcumin helps support healthy joints and a healthy immune system by fighting free radicals and helping to protect cells.

The tea crystals in this recipe contain 3 sources of turmeric for a supercharged drink that can be enjoyed day or night. This tea is caffeine-free and promotes a sense of calm. To help reap the benefits of the curcumin, a pinch of black pepper is added which helps increase its absorption.

Better Digestion with Apple Cider Vinegar, Lemon, and Ginger

Apple cider vinegar is especially useful to have in your arsenal of natural remedies if you experience bloating. Including the variety of ACV that contains “the Mother,” which is full of good bacteria that help balance gut microflora. ACV may also help balance blood sugar, preventing a spike and crash in insulin levels.

Lemon helps to stimulate digestion and the natural acidity of lemon juice aids in the breakdown of food. Lemons are also a great source of the immune system supporting vitamin-C.

Ginger is widely used to soothe the digestive system, as well as support circulation.

This elixir is made on the stovetop by simmering ginger in filtered water. This infuses the ginger into the tea leaving behind its spicy flavor and healing benefits. Next the electric turmeric tea is stirred in along with black pepper, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and pure maple syrup. It’s best to enjoy the tea shortly after making it for the highest potency.
