These 2-bite bliss balls will satisfy a craving for something sweet without added sugar! This all natural treat packs in the flavor you’d expect from a carrot cake, but without any of the guilt. Now that’s pure bliss!

Bliss balls are an indulgent treat that’s the perfect size for satisfying a sweet tooth on the go. This carrot cake inspired recipe is vegan and Paleo-friendly without any added dairy. These two bite treats are great for anyone who isn’t a fan of chocolate but still wants a sweet snack every now and then. Best of all, they’re no-bake and ready in less than 30 minutes!

Satisfy Hunger with Fiber and Healthy Fats

Although these truffle-sized balls are tiny, they pack in a lot of flavor with the added benefit of filling fiber thanks to pecans and almond flour. They also contain a dose of healthy fats with virgin coconut oil. Coconut oil naturally hardens when it is chilled, helping to firm up the bliss balls.

Spice of Life

To add the spiced flavor of carrot cake, nutmeg and cinnamon are added. These aromatic spices bring recipes to life with a comforting flavor. You’ll often find ground ginger in carrot cake, but this tea-infused recipe sneaks in ginger digestion tea with the zesty flavor and immune system support of ginger and antioxidants from black tea.

Nature’s Sweetener

You won’t find any processed sugar in this recipe. Sticky sweet dates add rich caramel-like flavor to the bliss balls while helping them bind together. Be sure to purchase dried pitted dates and not the fresh variety. Soaking the dates before blending softens them and makes them easier to break up in the food processor. Dates can also be used in homemade dessert bars, brownies and blended in smoothies.

Tip: Store bliss balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep them firm.
