  1. Green tea has no calories. It also contains only a small amount of caffeine and is a great coffee alternative. 
  2. Green tea boosts metabolism. It is loaded with polyphenols (tea antioxidants) that boosts gut health and thus digestion.
  3. Green tea is anti-aging. A Chinese study showed that men, who consumed green tea, had their cells aging at a much slower rate than the men who didn’t (1). Researchers think that the antioxidants in green tea are the reason behind this phenomenon.

Course: Face Masks
Servings: 1 face mask
Ingredients
  • 2 packets Pique Sencha Green Tea
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
Instructions
  1. Pour 2 packets Pique Sencha Green Tea into 2 cups water and stir. Add chia seeds and let sit for 10 minutes. Apply to face with clean hands. Let the mask sit for 10 minutes then remove with warm water, massaging skin as you rinse. Optional: drink the remaining tea!
