Get your day off to the best possible start with this delicious high-protein shake.  In this tasty breakfast beverage, nutritious walnuts, cashews and almonds are sweetened with delicious dates and spiced-up with aromatic cinnamon and vanilla. The English Breakfast Tea base is sure to give you an energy boost without the energy highs and lows you might get from coffee. This shake will leave you feeling fuller for longer than most morning mixes and it tastes so good we’re pretty sure that this one will become a breakfast-time staple.

A new take on English Breakfast Tea

English Breakfast is a blend of black tea that is traditionally consumed in the morning. We’ve added our favorite nut milk – almond milk – it has about half the calories of cow’s milk and is dairy-free. It also has plenty of vitamin E, making it great for your skin, and is without the risk of any scary hormones that might be found in cow’s milk [1]. Cinnamon and vanilla extract provide all of the flavor and sweetness that you could wish for, without the downside that comes from consuming too much processed sugar. Both of these tasty ingredients have antioxidant properties [3], so they may even be doing you some good. What’s not to like?

Discover Dates

We’ve added dates to this tasty shake and dates have a growing reputation as a superfood thanks to their nutritional goodness. They’re packed full of vitamins, fiber, and minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. The B vitamins found in this drink will keep your energy levels up for the day ahead and might even help keep your skin and nervous system functioning at its best [4].

Going Nutty about Nuts

Your new go-to breakfast drink contains a generous mix of almonds, cashews, and walnuts. Almonds are another great source of vitamin E, which is probably the most important vitamin when it comes to keeping your skin looking young and healthy. Cashews, like dates, are rich in essential minerals, including magnesium, which is thought to help prevent memory loss. Walnuts, like cinnamon and vanilla extract, have a high concentration of health-giving antioxidants.  Of course, nuts are also a great source of protein. A good helping of protein in the morning is probably the best way of reducing the food cravings that might tempt you to eat unhealthy snacks later in the day.
